Capital Challenge BigEq.com Equitation Weekend Schedule Changes!

When the 25th anniversary edition of the Capital Challenge Horse Show kicks off in just two weeks, the show will welcome the largest number of entries to date – including a record 128 riders in the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) 3’3” Jumping Seat Medal Final and 138 riders in the Palm Beach International Academy North American Junior Equitation Championships!

In order to accommodate all riders competing during BigEq.com Equitation Weekend, September 28-30, and to make the weekend fair for all, the weekend schedule has been updated.

The age group equitation divisions, including the 13 & 14-Year-Old, 15-Year-Old, 16-Year-Old, and 17-Year-Old will be split into Section A and Section B of each division. Section A will jump on Friday and flat on Saturday, and Section B of each division will run in its entirety on Saturday.  

By offering additional sections in the age group equitation divisions, all riders have an opportunity to compete and to prepare for the USHJA 3’3” Jumping Seat Medal Final and the PBIA North American Junior Equitation Championships.
